Course Description:
Showing how to exploit the interaction between electromagnetic fields and biological systems for chemical and physical parameters detection. General topics will include: Photonic biosensors for medical and environmental monitoring; microwaves for medical imaging; terahertz radiation for medical diagnostics; measurements via wearable and ingestible devices; intracellular probing.
Key Objectives:
Provide researchers with essential skills for diagnostics and monitoring in medical and environmental applications, including point of care testing.
